Most men drink to forget.
They drink to turn the volume down. They drink to numb the screaming voice in their head that tells them they are failing. They drink to blur the edges of their beige boring existence so they can tolerate their job and their wife and their reflection for another four hours.
That is not drinking. That is anesthesia.
That is the behavior of a patient waiting for surgery not a King sitting on his throne.
I do not drink to forget. I drink to remember.
I drink to turn the volume up. I drink to sharpen the edges. I drink because there is a fire inside of me and sometimes it needs fuel to burn brighter not water to put it out.
There is a difference between being a drunk and being a poet.
A drunk slurs his words. A poet finds the perfect one. A drunk stumbles. A poet flows. A drunk wakes up with regret. A poet wakes up with a manuscript.
Alcohol is not a toy. It is a spirit. It is a technology. And like any powerful technology it can either build a civilization or burn a village to the ground. Most of you are burning your own villages because you do not understand the alchemy of what you are putting in your mouth.
You are drinking poison. I am drinking potion.
Hierarchy of Spirits
Not all alcohol is created equal. Different spirits carry different ghosts. You need to know who you are inviting into your temple.
Beer and IPAs are for the Estrogenic Horde If you drink IPAs you are not cultured. You are just drinking liquid bread that tastes like a homeless man spit and stomped on a pinecone. Every IPA is just hops (literal phytoestrogens) disguised as masculinity. “Craft beer culture” is just men with handlebar beard oiled up mustaches celebrating their own chemical castration. cow being fattened for cultural slaughter.
ANNNND ON BEER Don’t get me wrong I love a good beer but you can not be drinking it all the time. It is heavy. It creates bloat. It creates the dad bod. It creates the man who falls asleep on the couch at 8 PM with crumbs on his shirt. Oh and fuck Bud Light.
Vodka is for Spies and Children Vodka is the spirit of nothingness. It is colorless. Odorless. Tasteless. It is designed to disappear. It is for college girls who want to make bad decisions and Russian spies who need to kill people without remorse. It numbs the soul. It freezes the heart. If you are drinking vodka you are trying to erase yourself. Stop it.
Gin is for Chaos Gin is botanical madness. It is perfume that gets you high. There is a chaotic energy to gin. It makes people mean or it makes them weep. It is the drink of the asylum. Use with caution.
TEQUILA: LIQUID LOBOTOMY
Everyone has a tequila story. Usually involves nudity, property damage, and apologies. That’s because most of you drink mixto - 51% agave, 49% industrial alcohol and regret. Real tequila, 100% agave, is different. But you’ll still end up naked. Some spirits reveal truth. Tequila reveals your inner stripper.
Whiskey is for Melancholy I respect whiskey. It is the drink of the writer. The brooding man. The man in the leather chair staring at the fire thinking about the war. But whiskey is heavy. It pulls you down. It anchors you to the earth. It is a sedative for the heavy heart. If you want to write a tragedy drink whiskey.
WINE: WOULDN’T YOU LIKE TO KNOW
Wine deserves its own love note, which I’ll write when I’m done teaching you savages how to hold a glass without looking like you’re jerking off a ghost. For now, know this: If you’re drinking wine from a box or a bottle with a funny animal on it, you’re not drinking wine. You’re drinking marketing.
Mezcal is for The Divine This is the King. This is the only spirit I trust with my soul. Mezcal is not alcohol. It is a psychedelic upper. It is liquid smoke and sunlight. Think about it. The agave plant sits in the high desert sun for seven to thirty years. It absorbs the energy of the sun and the earth and the moon for decades. Then we cut it down. We roast it in a pit in the ground with fire and rocks. We crush it. We ferment it. When you drink mezcal you are drinking thirty years of sun and fire. You are drinking time. It does not make you sloppy. It makes you euphoric. It opens the third eye. It connects you to the downward pointed earth and the upward pointed sky at the same time. It is the only spirit that makes me feel more awake the more I drink.
The Ritual of the Pour
The dumbfuck drinks out of red plastic cups. The drunk drinks straight from the bottle like a desperate animal.
Create a ritual.
You cannot have a divine experience with cheap tools.
The Vessel Matters You need heavy glass. Crystal. Something that has weight. When you pick up your glass it should feel like a decision. It should feel like a weapon. Do not drink my expensive mezcal out of a coffee mug. That is a sin against aesthetics.
The Ice If you use small cloudy freezer burned ice chips you are ruining the alchemy. You need one large clear cube. Ice that melts slow. Ice that respects the liquid. If you cannot be bothered to make good ice you do not deserve good whiskey.
The Setting Lighting is everything. You cannot drink like a poet under fluorescent lights. Turn them off. Light a candle. Sit on the lanai. Look at the ocean. If you are drinking in a bright kitchen standing over the sink you are just an alcoholic. If you are sitting in a leather chair with a single light source listening to jazz you are a philosopher. Context changes the chemistry.
Moderation Through Excess
The herd preaches “moderation.” They count drinks. They sip light beer. They are terrified of losing control.
I preach Moderation Through Excess.
Here is the rule.
Only drink the expensive shit.
If you buy a $12 bottle of vodka you will drink the whole thing because it is trash and you treat it like trash. You will chug it to get the effect. You will vomit. You will regret.
If you buy a $200 bottle of wild harvested Tepeztate Mezcal you will not chug it. You will respect it. You will sip it. You will taste the smoke and the clay and the history.
You will treat the liquid like gold because it is priced like gold.
When the cost is high the behavior changes. You become a connoisseur instead of a consumer.
ARISTOCCRRRRAAAT
You drink less because the quality is so high so less drink satisfies the soul.
This is how you stay lean. This is how you stay sharp. You price yourself out of bad habits.
The Golden Hour (Knowing When to Stop)
There is a specific moment. The Alchemist’s moment.
It usually happens halfway through the second drink.
The brain fog clears. The words start to flow. The anxiety dissolves. You feel powerful. You feel euphoric. You feel like you could fight a bear or write a symphony.
Stop there.
That is the peak. That is the gift.
The dumbasses keep drinking trying to chase that feeling. But you cannot catch it. If you have the next drink you fall off the cliff. You get sloppy. You get tired. The magic evaporates and you are just another drunk guy slurring his words. You need to ride this wave and hop off when its done. I could take this advice.
The poet hits the peak and holds it. He rides the wave. He uses that energy to write to create to seduce. He does not drown it in more liquid.
Tonight, while you’re cracking open another Bud Light in your sad apartment, I’ll be on my balcony with a glass of Pechuga mezcal distilled with a raw chicken breast hanging in the still (yes, really), surrounded by wild fruits and spices.
Not because I need to drink. Because I choose to transform.
You use alcohol to escape who you are. I use it to become the avatar.
You drink poison hoping to forget. I drink potion preparing to remember.
You’re an amateur getting drunk. I’m an artist getting free.
Raise a glass to something worth dying for, or put the bottle down and go to bed.
Your liver, like your life, is not renewable.
Choose your spirits wisely. They’re choosing you back.
Read the fucking avatar Guide or Seduction Bible Vol:2 I just wrote
I am also now taking calls message me if interested.
GOD BLESS THE WOLVES
THE AVATAR SYSTEM: A Surgical Manual for Annihilating the “Self” & Forging a Legend (Uncensored)
I was on the Ducati, 90mph, taking a corner on the Tantalus cliffs so hard the back wheel was fucking praying. The world was a blue green smear and the wind was a scream from hell. And for one perfect beautiful second…. the world tore.
-Day

When I was a young Dog Towner growing up in Santa Monica, CA, I had a homie that would buy a fifth of Jack Daniels and put inside it an 1/8 ounce of shrooms and we would drink it at sunset on our beach watching our million dollar sunsets paint the sky, watching the waves crash into the ocean and coming back together to form into another wave, scheming about our next hodlum activities and mayhem for that night. We called that drink mix, "Demon Semen."
We eventually just started drinking Jack Daniels as our poison of choice.
$$ quote: “You drink less because the quality is so high so less drink satisfies the soul.”
Very true. Been to Oktoberfest in Germany twice so - for beer - I’ve been totally spoiled. Always go for das Dunkel - the darks - which are unpasteurized (in Germany all beer is) & comes out of a wooden hogs head. You’re a liter away from the greatest elixir ever.
Otherwise it’s aged Bourbon if I’m not crafting exotic Polynesian cocktails: Mai Tais, Singapore Slings, Zombies, etc. Never understood the vodka attraction; like you said it’s odorless & colorless. It takes on the flavor or whatever it’s mixed with. James Bond aside always struck me as a woman’s drink.
Bud Light is Tranny Fluid.
